Wetlands laws and regulations can have a major impact on your work. This is true whether you are building a co-generation plant in Sikeston or Cape Girardeau, Mo., a coal-fired power station in Boise or Coeur de Alene, Idaho, or a 50-story office tower in midtown Manhattan or downtown Los Angeles. Even if you are helping your neighbor, by placing fill to help close a mud hole or ditch, the wetlands regulations can affect your work and come back to haunt you.
