Concrete floors in commercial properties occasionally need some restoration. Years of heavy use, a poor finishing job, exposure to moisture from nearby plumbing leaks, and other circumstances all play a factor in diminishing the appearance and condition of a concrete floor. There are a variety concrete floor surfaces available these days. This means, of course, that there are a variety of restoration methods too. The first common problem with a concrete floor is the development of cracks . There are different reasons why these cracks appear. Most of the time they are superficial and do not indicate a foundation problem. The cracks can be sealed as long as proper techniques are employed. Other problems can include shallow, rough patches and crumbling. The extent of the project will depend on the level of damage.
