In today's economy, many building owners are electing to update their current location or existing structure instead of purchasing new facilities. Metal buildings are very common due to their efficiencies and lower up-front construction costs as they are designed to meet exact project requirements. Changes in the project requirements that increase loading or moving building components can be challenging due to small amount of excess capacity in the original design. How can a warehouse building be modified for use as an office? How can a building be modified to increase the useable floor space? How can a building be reinforced due to new loads or improved serviceability needs? This teleconference will help you understand how changes may impact your structure and, when needed, what options are available for reinforcing metal building members.
